College and Young Adults at CotC
The Young Adults Ministry at Church of the Cross aims to connect 18-25 year olds with one another and the wider CotC community. We are open to everyone regardless of life stage! Whether you are a student, pursuing the trades, starting your career, or just taking a gap year we are a place for you to grow in Christian community with other young adults!

Our weekly rhythm is called “Couch and Table.” We meet each Monday from 6pm-8pm. During our time we enjoy a communal meal together, study scripture, and pray together using the Book of Common Prayer.
The location varies from month to month. Reach out to garrett@cotcboston.org for this week’s location! -
One of the most important things you can do as a young Christian is to develop relationships with older Christians. We look to connect young adults with other adults at CotC especially in mentorship and discipleship contexts. Whether you are looking for spiritual guidance, career and life advice, or just an older, wiser friend, we went to help you build strong multi-generational relationships. To talk with someone about finding a mentor at Church of the Cross email garrett@cotcboston.org.

We do not exist to be a siloed ministry, but rather as a stepping stone for young adults to find community with the broader Church of the Cross community. While we have events geared specifically towards young adults, much of our programing is done in partnership with other ministries at the church. You might find yourself serving alongside the Justice and Mercy Team, or going on a retreat with the men’s and women’s ministries, or camping with the whole church on the annual camping trip! Check out or event calendar below for upcoming opportunities!
CCO partnership and
Boston College Outreach
The Coalition for Christian Outreach
The CCO is a para-church campus ministry organization that has reached students in partnership with the local church for nearly 50 years. With a vast wealth of experience and resources, the CCO will be a wonderful partner as we seek to serve students. Their approach to campus ministry emphasizes Jesus' lordship over all areas of life with the purpose of transforming college students to transform the world. Learn more about the CCO at ccojubilee.org.
Through our partnership with the CCO we reach out to undergraduate students at Boston College. We are blessed to be recognized as an official student organization by BC. While our outreach efforts are focused on Boston College, our weekly programming is open to all college students! Contact garrett@cotcboston.org for more info!
What it's about
We believe that God, in his wisdom, has designed us to grow in the context of the local church. Too often students move through their college years with little meaningful connection to church community. Over the years, our community has been a wonderful place for students, and we are so thankful. We desire to continue seeing students fully integrated in the age-diverse people of God, serving and being served. From an encounter with God and the body of Christ, our heart is that students would find purpose for their life and work in the knowledge that God has and is redeeming all things.
We need your help!
Our church is deeply committed to reaching college students in the Boston Area. Campus ministry is a team endeavour, we are always looking for faithful people to serve our college students by joining our Campus Ministry Team! Members of this team head to campus regularly to spend time with college students, engage with them in their context, and disciple and mentor students. If you are interested in joining our team contact garrett@cotcboston.org.
